Well, they say that lighting does not strike twice in the same place, but judging by this story they might need to review that law of physics. It is too much of a coincidence that the same dog loving hooman would end up adopting two doggos in almost identical ways. This has to be the work of the Doggo Distribution System bringing doggos in need to the hooman who can care for them. Or in the slightly sadder, but equally likely case this is the result of a neglectful neighbor who decided on two separate occasions to try and take in a doggo. But for whatever reason failed to properly care for the animals and shrouded in shame, dumped them at her doorstep.

What a heartwarming ending to a story that could have gone so differently. It is not to be taken for granted or lightly that this woman had the space and patience to take on a second dog. No less one that would require a whole lot of effort and care to train. But she is right, once you see your dog light up like that, and that it knows it has a buddy, and in this case someone younger to look after and guide. How can you possibly take that away from them? How can you possibly stop all the good that is happening around you? This is what they mean when they say the good is hard, but it is totally worth it. Puppy training sounds like it will be a blast with this puppy and his canine sibling.
